About The Position
The Certified Nurse Aide I provides direct patient care in a courteous and caring manner under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The role interacts with unit staff, patients, patients’ family members, and other departments to support patient comfort and safety. The position may also perform other duties deemed necessary to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Registration with the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services Division of Health Service Regulation, Healthcare Personnel Registry as a Nurse Aide I.
- Current AHA BLS Healthcare Provider Certification.
