CNA (Hospice) Full-Time Chester County & Lancaster, PA
About The Position
Constellation Hospice is looking for a CNA for our Hospice Program to provide coverage in Chester County and assistance in Lancaster, PA. The primary function of the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is to assist with personal care, provide assistance, and work cooperatively with the patient and family. The Hospice Aide will be trained in appropriate and safe techniques for performing personal hygiene and grooming tasks, including bed baths, sponge baths, shower baths, and hair shampooing in a sink, tub, or bed. The services of a hospice aide are ordered by a physician and are given under the supervision of a registered nurse.
Requirements
- Must have successfully completed the CNA training and competency evaluation program approved by the state.
- CNA License must be active and in good standing.
- Must have a current driver's license and be willing to drive within an assigned territory.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Basic knowledge of iOS operating system.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of experience and hospice and/or home health experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care.
- Provide assistance to patients and families.

- Perform personal hygiene and grooming tasks including bed bath, sponge bath, and shower bath.
- Perform hair shampooing in sink, tub, and bed.
- Drive within an assigned territory.
