Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Home Health, Assisted Living or Home Health Aide.
- Completion of approved training, as required for Certified Nursing Assistant or Home Health Aide.
- Current CPR training as approved by American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
- Current First Aid certification or willingness to become First Aid certified.
- Valid and current driver's license.
- Compliance with Florida’s Care Provider Background Screening process.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
Responsibilities
- Escort residents in our skilled nursing and assisted living to doctors' appointments.
- Assist licensed care staff in performing a variety of clinical and technical tasks to assigned residents.
- Assist with activities of daily living, light housekeeping, dining / tray services, escort services, performing vital signs and weights and other care related duties as assigned.
- Participate in quality assessment and performance improvement activities.
- Notify of resident changes of condition as they occur.
