About The Position

The CNA Home Health Aide (DAY SHIFT) position is a 30-hour weekly role that provides care in various settings including homes, apartments, assisted living facilities, and skilled nursing facilities. The role requires reliable transportation and flexible daytime availability. A $500 sign-on bonus is offered. The caregiver assists with personal care, medication management reminders, exercises, ambulation, transfers, household services, meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping, emotional and psychological support, and accompanying clients to appointments and social functions. Observation of changes in client abilities or needs and appropriate documentation are also key responsibilities.

Requirements

CNA Certification and license
Valid driver's license in good standing.
Proof of auto insurance

Responsibilities

Assists with personal care activities: bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair/skin care and feeding.
Assisting with medication management by reminding client to take medication as needed.
Assisting the client with exercises, ambulation and transfer activities.
Performing household services essential to a clean, safe and healthy environment, including meal preparation, laundry and housekeeping.
Providing basic emotional and psychological support to client and other members of the household.
Assisting and client to physician, clinic, or other appointments.
Accompanying patient on walks and to social functions.
Observing any changes in the clients’ abilities and/or needs for safety issues and notifying the agency as appropriate.
Documentation of care/activities provided will be submitted as per agency policy.
