About The Position

Baptist Home Health Care by BAYADA is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants/Home Health Aides to join their team in North Jacksonville/West Jacksonville, FL. This office serves adult and geriatric clients on a per-visit basis. The agency's mission is to help people of all ages have a safe home life with comfort, independence, and dignity, providing high-quality home health care with compassion, excellence, and reliability. They aim to enable clients to remain at home while receiving necessary medical care.

Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation to travel from home to home.
• Must have a Florida CNA license or Home Health Aide Certificate!
• Have at least one year of work experience
• Must be listed on the Florida Nurse Aide Registry, active and in good standing.
• Demonstrate an ability to read, write, and effectively communicate in English
• Pass the BAYADA Competency Evaluation Examination
• Have a criminal background check completed
• Meet all state requirements

Responsibilities

• Activities of daily living
• Light housekeeping

• Vital sign checks: temperature, pulse, respiration
• Home Management Tasks: laundry, meal preparation, bed making etc.
