About The Position
We are looking for a warm, capable CNA to join our care team for a wonderful gentleman living with ALS in Kittery. He needs a helping hand around the house — and honestly, a familiar friendly face he can count on each week. Interim HealthCare- Maine is dedicated to providing exceptional healthcare services to the community with a focus on compassionate and personalized care. Requirements
- Active Maine CNA certification
- Reliable transportation and availability for the schedule above
- Patience, warmth, and a steady hand
Nice To Haves
- Experience with ALS or other neurological conditions (huge plus, but not a deal breaker if you're a fast learner with a great attitude)
- CPR certification
Responsibilities
- Helping with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming)
- Whipping up meals and helping with feeding as needed
- Light housekeeping to keep things comfortable
- Assisting with mobility and transfers
- Being a genuine, caring presence — not just a task-doer
