HHA & CNA Hourly (Vero Area)
About The Position
AccordCare is hiring certified nursing assistants (CNAs) and home health aides (HHAs) to provide hourly and live-in care to clients in Vero Beach and surrounding areas. Caregivers support clients’ safety, comfort, and daily routines at home, following each client’s Plan of Care. The role includes assistance with personal care, mobility, medication reminders, meal preparation, and light housekeeping, as well as monitoring and reporting changes in client condition. Applicants must meet credentialing, screening, transportation, and caregiving requirements. Screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse is required.
Requirements
- Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate.
- Current CPR certification; in-person certification is preferred.
- Negative TB test or negative QuantiFERON blood test.
- Pass Level 2 background screening and drug screening.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to drive the patient.
- Compassion, reliability, and ability to provide live-in care.
- Complete screening through the Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
Responsibilities
- Provide care according to the client’s Plan of Care.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition.
- Provide medication reminders as directed.
- Prepare meals and assist with light housekeeping.
- Support safety, comfort, and daily routines in a live-in setting.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and quality care standards.
