About The Position

Good Shepherd Hospice is seeking a compassionate CNA to serve patients and their families in Grove and surrounding communities. The ideal candidate is passionate about providing quality care and excellent service. The CNA helps patients and families achieve physical and emotional comfort as outlined in the patient’s plan of care and provides support services under the supervision of clinical supervisors.

Requirements

• Be certified by the state where services are provided as a Certified Nursing Assistant/Home Health Aide.
• Maintain high integrity, including the confidentiality of patient information and records.
• Work as a team player, follow directions, and adhere to defined care plans.
• Demonstrate commitment to the hospice philosophy of care.
• Successfully pass background checks and a drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of experience in hospice, home health, or geriatric care; experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients and families in achieving physical and emotional comfort as outlined in the patient’s plan of care.
• Provide support services under the supervision of clinical supervisors.
• Promote positive, supportive, and respectful communication with patients and their families.
