About The Position
Benchmark is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide care to residents in a warm, comfortable, home-like environment. The role is per diem, with shifts listed as 7am–3pm, 3pm–11pm, and 11pm–7am. Starting pay is $18.50 per hour and increases with experience.
Requirements
- A valid CNA, HHA, or LNA license is required.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Document care provided and report changes in residents’ health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
- Use customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
- Perform other duties as needed.
