About The Position

Preferred Care at Home is actively hiring experienced, compassionate, and dependable CNAs / HHAs / Caregivers throughout Palm Beach County for immediate private duty home care assignments. We are currently seeking caregivers with hands-on experience assisting clients recovering from total or partial knee replacement surgery. These clients require attentive post-operative support, mobility assistance, transfer safety, fall prevention, encouragement with exercises, companionship, and help navigating the first critical weeks of healing at home. This is an excellent opportunity for caregivers who enjoy seeing client progress, building rapport, and helping seniors regain their strength and confidence after surgery.

Requirements

• Active Florida CNA License OR HHA Certificate
• Minimum 1 year caregiving experience preferred
• Prior experience caring for knee replacement / orthopedic recovery clients
• Reliable transportation
• Compassionate bedside manner
• Ability to assist with transfers, ambulation, and ADLs
• Current CPR a plus
• Level 2 Background Screening preferred
