About The Position

Join WesleyLife at Brio as a CNA or CMA and help improve the aging experience by providing personalized care in a connected senior living community. Brio offers independent living, assisted living, memory support, long-term care, and short-term rehabilitation, with programming focused on residents’ mind, body, and spirit. The community is located in Johnston and provides a home-like environment.

The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, providing companionship and emotional support, monitoring health, administering medications, supporting recreational and therapeutic activities, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and communicating with residents, families, and the healthcare team. The open position is a part-time day shift, three days per week, from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Candidates must be at least 18. One year of assisted living or long-term care experience is preferred. Applicants must complete a pre-hire health assessment and a four-panel drug screen.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

• Have strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Nice To Haves

• One year of previous assisted living or long-term care experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other daily living activities.
• Pass and administer medications.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents.
• Conduct routine health monitoring, including checking vital signs.
• Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by following infection control protocols.
• Communicate with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
