About The Position

Medical Park West Rehabilitation and Skilled Care in Norman, Oklahoma is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide personal care and support to residents in a long-term and rehabilitative care facility. Requirements

• State certification as a nursing assistant.
• Complete familiarity with the duties of a certified nursing assistant.
• Highly developed observation skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• One year of experience.
• High school education.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care to residents in a manner that supports their safety and comfort and follows community policy.
• Promote and support the greatest possible degree of independence for residents.
• Advise the supervising charge nurse of each resident’s status at the beginning and end of the shift.
• Contribute knowledge of residents’ conditions and needs to resident care plans.
• Assist with implementing care plans as directed and within established policies and procedures.
• Observe and report residents’ conditions and document observations as required.
• Follow established procedures for safe lifting and transferring of residents.
• Keep equipment clean and functional.
• Perform incidental housekeeping or maintenance tasks as needed to maintain a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, visitors, and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
