About The Position
Emerald Care Center Tulsa is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join its skilled nursing facility team. The CNA provides high-quality care and support to residents, helping ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being. The position operates in a clinical healthcare environment and is PRN (per diem).
Requirements
- Current CNA certification in Oklahoma.
- Ability to lift and move residents and perform physical tasks associated with patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility or similar healthcare setting.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Help residents with mobility, including transferring, positioning, and ambulating safely.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
- Document care provided, changes in residents’ conditions, and other pertinent information in electronic health records.
- Report changes in residents’ conditions or concerns to nursing staff or a supervisor in a timely manner.
- Assist with feeding and meal preparation, and provide companionship to enhance residents’ quality of life.
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to provide cohesive and comprehensive care.
