About The Position
Care aides are a key part of the Juniper team. They provide physical support to help residents stay engaged, safe, and independent in a 17-bed facility. The role is part time, working 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., with every-other-weekend and holiday rotation required. Juniper describes a diverse and inclusive culture and offers team-based support, mentorships, and hands-on support from home office leadership.
Requirements
- High school education or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
- Work every other weekend and participate in the holiday rotation.
Nice To Haves
- One year of caregiving experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, hair care, shaving, continence management, dining, and attending Juniper programs.
- Help residents secure transportation, make and keep appointments, and use the telephone.
- Check and monitor vital signs as instructed.
- Communicate effectively with team members, residents, and families.
- Provide excellent customer service.
