About The Position
Come join us at Ozanam Hall Nursing Home of Queens! A Faith-Based, Nonprofit, Short-Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Geriatric Care facility sponsored by the Carmelite Sisters for the Aged and Infirm, we've served the community since 1971. We are a place of life, a place of caring, and more importantly, a true home for our residents. We are seeking to fill the position of CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant.
Requirements
- NY CNA – Certified Nursing Assistant License.
Nice To Haves
- SNF and LTC experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities for daily living (ADL)
- Answer call lights
- Assist with feeding
- Collaborate with Nurse and other Certified Nursing Assistants
- Document all care provided
- Answer signal lights and bells to determine resident needs.
- Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care.
- Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding.
- Assist resident with range of motion exercises.
- Assist with transport to wheelchair and activity areas.
- Monitor and record temperature, food and fluid intake and output.
- Meet the communication needs of resident and family.
- Communicate changes in residents’ clinical condition.
