About The Position

Whitewater, WI. Skilled and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants are sought for full-time, part-time, and casual openings in long-term care and Assisted Living. The role involves supporting patients with personal hygiene and activities of daily living, providing adjunct care, monitoring patient stability, ensuring comfort, and documenting care. The starting salary ranges from $16.00 to $17.50 per hour.

Requirements

• Hold a current CNA license.
• Have at least 1 year of healthcare experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal hygiene care, including assistance with bedpans, urinals, baths, backrubs, shampoos, shaves, and trips to the bathroom.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including serving meals, feeding patients as needed, ambulating, turning and positioning patients, and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Provide adjunct care, including administering enemas and douches; applying non-sterile dressings, surgical preps, ice packs, and heat treatments; providing sitz and therapeutic baths; and applying restraints.
• Check vital signs and weight, test urine, and record intake and output information to help maintain patient stability.
• Promote patient comfort by using available resources and materials, transporting patients, responding to call lights and requests, and reporting observations to the nursing supervisor.
• Document care by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
