About The Position
The CNA performs basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse. The role follows treatment plans designed for each resident or patient’s age, needs, and abilities, including assisting with meals and nourishment, transfers using proper body mechanics and appropriate assistive devices, ambulation, bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming. The position is at Masonicare Health Center, a 260-bed skilled nursing facility in Wallingford, Connecticut, and is scheduled for 16 hours per week, every other weekend, on the day shift.
Requirements
- Current Connecticut certification as a nurse's aide (C.N.A.).
- CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic nursing care procedures under the direction and supervision of a licensed nurse.

- Assist with meals and nourishment.
