This is a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) position on the Cardiac Telemetry Unit at Aurora Sinai Medical Center. The role involves assisting Registered Nurses (RNs) with the daily care of patients, including basic hygiene, feeding, ambulation, and monitoring vital signs. The CNA will accurately document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), perform purposeful rounding, and assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges. Responsibilities also include specimen collection, maintaining nursing supplies, cleaning equipment, and performing patient positioning and transportation duties. The position requires adherence to infection prevention policies and the ability to provide age-appropriate care. The CNA will work a 36-hour week on the day shift (0700-1930), rotating every other weekend and holiday.
