CNA Caregiver
About The Position
Griswold Home Care for Sumter & Kershaw is looking to hire capable, full-time OR part-time Certified Nursing Assistants / CNAs to provide companionship and perform caregiving duties in the greater Sumter area. This includes communities such as Dalzell, Oakland, Stateburg, Mayesville & Wedgefield. This CNA position earns a competitive wage up to $17/hr, depending on your level of experience and the needs level of particular clients. Griswold Home Care was founded by the late Jean Griswold in 1982, making us the oldest non-medical home care franchise organization in the country. Requirements
- Active/Valid CNA Certification
- Reliable Transportation
- Pass Pre-Hire Screenings
- Authorized to work in USA
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Punctual and dependable
- Respectful and kind
Nice To Haves
- 2+ years of CNA or home care experience
- Driving Record & Proof of Insurance (for clients needing errands/transportation)
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and perform caregiving duties.
- Assist with daily tasks to allow clients to live as independently as possible.
- Perform light housekeeping duties.
- Prepare meals.
- Grocery shopping.
- Provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia.
- Assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing.
- Maintain proper personal hygiene for clients.
- Keep a log of duties performed during the shift.
- Submit accurate documentation.
- Check in with the office often, providing timely updates regarding the needs of clients.
