About The Position

Griswold Home Care for Sumter & Kershaw is looking to hire capable, full-time OR part-time Certified Nursing Assistants / CNAs to provide companionship and perform caregiving duties in the greater Sumter area. This includes communities such as Dalzell, Oakland, Stateburg, Mayesville & Wedgefield. This CNA position earns a competitive wage up to $17/hr, depending on your level of experience and the needs level of particular clients. Requirements

  • Active/Valid CNA Certification
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Pass Pre-Hire Screenings
  • Authorized to work in USA
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Punctual and dependable
  • Respectful and kind

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of CNA or home care experience
  • Driving Record & Proof of Insurance (for clients needing errands/transportation)

Responsibilities

  • Provide companionship and perform caregiving duties.
  • Assist with daily tasks to allow clients to live as independently as possible.
  • Perform light housekeeping duties.
  • Prepare meals.
  • Grocery shopping.
  • Provide caregiving services to clients with cognitive impairments or dementia.
  • Assist with non-medical tasks such as feeding and bathing.
  • Maintain proper personal hygiene for clients.
  • Keep a log of duties performed during the shift.
  • Submit accurate documentation.
  • Check in with the office often, providing timely updates regarding the needs of clients.
