As a Senior Helpers of West Houston Caregiver, you will provide one-on-one personal care to help our clients remain safe and independent in their homes. Requirements

Ability to treat clients with dignity and respect
Ability to read, write, and speak English
Must have own transportation
Valid driver’s license and car insurance
Pass a criminal background check prior to employment

Responsibilities

Companionship & conversation
Light housekeeping
Household management
Errands as requested by client
Apparel selection (e.g. laying out clothes)
Meal planning & preparation
Laundry & linen changing
Medication reminders
Create and maintain open communication with seniors, their families, and our staff
Assist with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as assigned
Document activities in the Care Plan Binder daily (if applicable).
Record daily hours worked and daily services performed on the Weekly Time Sheet and Service Log, review with client and submit the signed form every Monday by 5:00 pm.
Report any significant client changes to the office immediately.
Follow all policies and procedures as outlines in the Senior Helpers Employee Handbook and Training Manual.
