About The Position

ComForCare Home Care – Central DuPage is looking for a dependable and compassionate CNA, HHA, or experienced Caregiver to provide quality one-on-one care to a senior client in Wheaton, IL during the evening hours. If you enjoy helping seniors remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes, this could be a great opportunity to build a meaningful career in home care. You will provide hands-on assistance and companionship while helping the client maintain a comfortable evening routine.

Requirements

• Dependable and compassionate
• Experienced in providing personal care or senior care
• Comfortable assisting with ADLs and mobility
• Able to work independently in a client's home
• Professional and reliable
• Comfortable communicating with the care team and family

Nice To Haves

• Experienced with dementia or Alzheimer's care is a plus

Responsibilities

• Assisting with activities of daily living (ADLs)
• Personal care and hygiene assistance
• Bathing, toileting, and incontinence care
• Mobility assistance and safe transfers
• Meal preparation and assistance
• Medication reminders
• Companionship and meaningful conversation
• Helping with evening and bedtime routines
• Light housekeeping related to the client's care
• Observing changes in the client's condition and reporting concerns
• Following the client's individualized care plan
• Maintaining a safe and comfortable home environment
