About The Position

The Monroe Adult Day Center is seeking a Certified Nurse's Assistant (CNA) for a per-diem position. The Adult Day Center provides high-quality services in a warm and compassionate environment, focusing on addressing loneliness and isolation in elders aging at home. The Medical Program offers individualized medication administration, support services, and personal/therapeutic care, with nursing staff and social workers creating individualized care plans. Program participants benefit from socialization and interactions with dedicated care partners.

Requirements

Certified Nurse’s Assistant (CNA) certification from the New Jersey Department of Health & Senior Services, in good standing.
High School graduate or GED required.
Ability to deal with others in a diplomatic, tactful and confidential manner.
Ability to read, write, and be understood in the English language.
Flu vaccine required during flu season.

Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care as a Certified Nurse's Assistant.
Administer medications and provide therapeutic care as needed.
Assist with personal care needs of program participants.
Engage with participants to encourage socialization and maintain independence.

Ensure a warm and compassionate environment for all participants.
