Requirements

Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
Clear and active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of practice required.
Prior recreational activities CNA experience a plus, or experience in a Short-Term rehabilitation or Long-Term Care setting.
High school diploma or equivalent, or one (1) to three (3) months related experience and/or training.
Active Certified Nursing Assistant
Has 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years, one of which was full-time in a therapeutic activities program.
Proficient in the use of a personal computer.
Participates in (or conducts) company-sponsored training to safeguard against improper use and disclosure of residents’ protected health information.
Monitors and ensures compliance with company policies, procedures and state and federal law.

Assisting the Activities Director in planning and providing an ongoing program of activities for residents and patients in a long-term care and short-term rehabilitation setting.
