About The Position
Focal Point Medical Staffing is seeking a compassionate and reliable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide 1:1 support for a special needs student within the Philadelphia Area School District. This is a 7th Grade Male with Cerebral Palsy. He is wheelchair bound and unable to bear weight.
Requirements
- Active CNA listed on the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry
- Pediatric experience required
- CPR/First Aid required
- Clean background and Drug screening
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with special needs or medically fragile children preferred
- Strong communication, patience, and reliability
Responsibilities
- Assist with changing, toileting, and hygiene
- Provide feeding assistance
- Assist with mobility and transfers via hoyer lift
- Ensure safety and supervision throughout the school day
- Support classroom participation under teacher or nurse direction
