About The Position
At Asbury Grace Park, we are seeking a dedicated CMT (Certified Medication Technician) to join our team. This role is crucial in assisting residents with their daily living activities while ensuring their dignity and independence are maintained. A key responsibility includes the safe and accurate administration of medications across various forms, adhering strictly to prescribed dosages and timings. The position requires a high level of attention to detail, protocol adherence, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and supportive environment for our residents. Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a recognized Medication Administration course is a plus
- 1 year experience or training working with older adults or in the retirement housing industry is preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with daily living activities while maintaining dignity and independence
- Administer medications safely and accurately across multiple forms as prescribed
- Follow a strict 3-step verification process: confirm resident, correct medication, and proper dosage/timing
- Ensure compliance with medication labeling to prevent errors
- Maintain attention to detail, protocol adherence, and availability every other weekend/holidays
