About The Position

Incora is seeking an exceptional Chemical Management Technician Lead to join their team. This role is responsible for representing company values, quality, and commitment, maintaining adequate stock levels, and performing value-added functions of chemical management on customer sites or at Incora's warehouse locations. The position requires maintaining strong knowledge of company products, services, inventory systems, quality requirements, and customer plans and specifications. Key duties include monitoring production floor bins for stock replenishment, conducting inventory inspections for shelf life, performing basic chemical analysis and sampling, preparing materials for shipment, and utilizing hand scanners for inventory management. The role also involves receiving and verifying product and documentation, stocking inventory, operating equipment like forklifts when trained, maintaining floor cleanliness, and communicating with customer personnel regarding part numbers, bin changes, and quantities. The technician will also communicate expedites, quality issues, and other problems to management for resolution and actively recommend process improvements. Accommodating special customer requirements, including schedule changes, overtime, holidays, and weekends, is expected. Additionally, the role involves conducting data reviews for machine maintenance related to fluids, processing machine maintenance, and adhering to safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA, FAR, EPA, DOT, RCRA). Waste management, gas cylinder handling, and potential travel between customer sites are also part of the responsibilities. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
  • Experience using Copilot or other AI tools to enhance productivity.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated excellence and commitment to a safe and hazard-free workplace.
  • Must be able to actively support and wear PPE (Respirator, Face Shield, Apron, Gloves, etc.) as required.
  • Hazwoper Training (40 Hours) required.
  • DOT Training required.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Clear and accurate data entry and documentation skills.
  • Strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently, and ethically with both internal and external customers.
  • Ability to be detailed oriented and perform in-depth research, if required.
  • Ability to be cross trained in multiple critical areas of the department.
  • Strong competency working with integrated data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and intermediate to advanced Word and Excel, as applicable and/or required.
  • Must be open to schedule changes and demands, to facilitate customer needs.
  • Must have and maintain own/reliable transportation and company-approved driving record.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree in a closely related field, such as Inventory Management, Logistics, Chemistry, Engineering, etc. is preferred.
  • Demonstrated basic knowledge and/or competency pertaining to chemical compatibility (Balancing pH levels, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain adequate stock levels of chemicals and related materials.
  • Perform value-added functions of chemical management on customer sites or warehouse locations.
  • Monitor production floor bins and storage cabinets to determine when replenishment of stock is required.
  • Conduct regular inventory inspections for shelf life/expiration dates.
  • Perform basic analysis/sampling and review of chemical compatibility.
  • Perform chemical additions to process tanks per written guidance.
  • Ensure availability and coordinate delivery of necessary chemicals.
  • Package and prepare material for shipment.
  • Utilize hand scanners to scan stocking locations and transmit replenishment orders.
  • Receive and verify product and documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Gather, deliver, and stock inventory, filling bins/cabinets on the customer site.
  • Level load production floor bins as necessary.
  • Operate pallet jacks, drum dollies, forklifts, and/or order pickers when trained/certified.
  • Maintain floor cleanliness, apply labels, and repair/replace bins, cabinets, and racks.
  • Maintain communication with customer Production Floor Supervisors and Lead Persons.
  • Communicate part expedites, quality issues, and/or other problems to management.
  • Actively seek and recommend process improvements.
  • Accommodate special customer requirements, including schedule changes, overtime, holidays, and weekends.
  • Conduct periodic data reviews for machine maintenance as it pertains to fluids.
  • Process machine maintenance by draining, cleaning, and replenishing materials.
  • Follow established work procedures to assure compliance with all customer site requirements and regulatory agencies.
  • Perform Waste Management (Where applicable by contract/site).
  • Attend regularly scheduled customer or company-sponsored meetings and/or training.
  • Handle gas cylinder deliveries, dispensing, down packing, and liquid nitrogen dewar filling.
  • Travel between customers’ sites, as necessary.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
