About The Position
The CMMS & Technology Coordinator administers and oversees the hospital’s Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including preventive maintenance schedules, work orders, and asset data. The position also supports facilities technology projects, such as data cable installations, network infrastructure coordination, and documentation of facility systems.
Responsibilities
- Input, update, and maintain equipment, asset, and system data within the CMMS.
- Create and review preventive maintenance schedules and recurring work orders.
- Generate reports on compliance, performance metrics, and maintenance trends.
- Accurately document preventive maintenance, inspections, and work orders for regulatory audits, including Joint Commission, CMS, and NFPA audits.
- Collaborate with supervisors and trades staff to prioritize and schedule maintenance activities.
- Oversee installation, labeling, and testing of data cabling, network drops, and low-voltage infrastructure.
- Coordinate with IT, contractors, and engineering teams on technology installations.
- Conduct general facility inspections to verify infrastructure integrity, equipment functionality, and code compliance.
