Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control practices.
  • Ability to interpret part numbers, purchase orders, packing slips, and inventory records.
  • Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification required.
  • Safety shoes and glasses required when working in the production areas.
  • Hearing Protection required in posted areas.
  • Wear supplied uniforms.
  • Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand 8 hours on concrete floors.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous warehouse, inventory control, maintenance storeroom, or material handling experience preferred.
  • Experience using inventory management systems or computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Store materials in designated locations and maintain proper inventory organization.
  • Pick, stage, and issue parts, tools, and supplies to maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Perform inventory counts and assist with cycle counting activities.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using the company's inventory management system.
  • Monitor stock levels and notify appropriate personnel of low inventory items.
  • Prepare materials for shipment and coordinate outbound deliveries when required.
  • Support maintenance teams by ensuring needed parts and materials are available for planned and emergency work.
  • Assist with maintaining spare parts inventory for production and facility equipment.
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding parts availability and deliveries.
  • Help identify obsolete, damaged, or excess inventory.
  • Maintain maintenance storage areas in a clean, organized, and safe manner.
  • Abide by all rules and procedures.
  • Make safety first priority.
  • Report all safety incidents or issues immediately.
  • Maintain clean work area.
  • Perform any/all tasks assigned by supervisor.
