About The Position

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We are seeking a CMMS Engineer to serve as a system master expert within an Amazon data center region. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to design, develop, and deploy innovative solutions to address operational challenges. This role requires both effective contributions and the ability to work within multi-disciplinary teams. The scope of this role will include owning the process from start to finish with deploying the EAM platform in your data center region, supporting local data center teams with asset collection, maintenance schedules, reporting, and training. As part of the global EAM team, you will help drive global processes and document development. This role acts as the gatekeeper for mission-critical data in EAM, responsible for the accuracy and reports produced in EAM. You will be required on a frequent basis to help develop systems enhancement modules of core and advanced modules to meet Regional or Global business requirements. There will be 20% travel when launching new locations.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
  • 2+ years of electrical and mechanical facilities maintenance experience
  • Technical Degree or equivalent professional experience in Engineering, Facilities Management, Analytics, Project Management, Computer Science or Information Technology.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) experience
  • 2+ years of data-driven business operations processes experience
  • Experience in business intelligence and analytics
  • 2+ years SQL Server database query and reporting experience using ETL, data warehouse, and SSAS/SSRS tools.
  • Working knowledge in EAM equipment hierarchy, object coding and naming convention.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the process from start to finish with deploying the EAM platform in your data center region.
