About The Position

Vishay UltraSource is seeking a CMM Technician in Hollis, NH. This role directly supports quality and on-time shipment goals by performing variable and attribute inspection of products. The technician will use customer specification drawing requirements and UltraSource quality procedures to determine acceptance or rejection of products. Requirements

  • Experience using calibrated measuring instruments ranging from hand tools to optical measuring equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret a wide variety of customer prints and specifications
  • Has previous experience understanding and implementing GD&T principles
  • Detail orientated in data collection and reporting of results
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within Quality Assurance
  • This position requires access to information subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations and/or the Export Administration Regulations. As such, this position is open only to applicants who qualify as “U.S. Persons” according to U.S. federal law.

Nice To Haves

  • Associates degree in a technical discipline, preferred
  • Experience writing programs in VB/QVE preferred
  • Experience working with DISCUS or NETINPECT or similar preferred
  • Previous work experience within a cleanroom preferred

Responsibilities

  • Uses a CMM (coordinate measuring machine), calipers and micrometers to confirm the dimensional requirements of product based on customer supplied drawing.
  • Updates First Article report with the dimensional and other attribute data as required by the customer in accordance with AS9102 Standard.
  • Ability to write and update programs on the CMM to perform the dimensional verification for repeat part numbers.
  • Ability to read and interpret a wide variety of customer prints and specifications.
  • Perform Wirebond & pull testing and other customer required testing as part of the verification for product acceptance.
  • Collaborate with Quality and Engineering personnel to drive root cause and corrective action for work orders with high dimensional rejection rates.
  • Provide back up support for quality assurance team members with specific responsibility for first article template creation, source inspection and PO reviews.
