About The Position

This role involves planning and conducting analysis and inspections to assure the quality of products or components, and writing supporting CMM programs. The position requires strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and metrology skills in a high-volume manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will communicate significant issues identified during quality assurance activities and document all data obtained.

Requirements

• High School diploma with at least three years of experience in an industrial environment or any combination of education and experience in quality assurance, statistics, or numerical analysis
• Motivation from problem-solving abilities and ability to complete assignments with little supervision
• Ability to create complex CMM Programs
• Experience in a Quality Lab Environment with efficient use of hand measuring tools, open granite set ups
• Strong practical knowledge of GD & T
• Ability to work with computer software and databases such as Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook
• Capacity to work in a fast paced, multi-functioned environment while maintaining a positive collaborative professional demeanor

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct analysis and inspections that assure the quality of product or component
• Write supporting CMM programs
• Communicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities to the team
• Document data obtained during all quality assurance activities
• Demonstrate knowledge of basic gage verification and gage calibration
