About The Position
TekPro is a direct recruitment firm partnered with leading manufacturing companies, and we’re hiring for a CMM Programmer / Metrology Specialist in a clean, tech-forward CNC machining environment supporting aerospace, automotive, and high-precision components. This is a high-visibility role where you’ll program, inspect, and drive quality improvements on tight-tolerance parts.
Requirements
- 3+ years CMM programming experience
- Strong Zeiss Calypso skills
- Advanced GD&T + blueprint reading
- Hands-on inspection background (micrometers, bore gages, etc.)
- Experience in a CNC machining environment
Responsibilities
- Program & run CMMs (Zeiss Calypso preferred)
- Perform first article & production inspections
- Interpret complex GD&T (ASME Y14.5)
- Troubleshoot measurement & quality issues
- Partner with engineering & production teams
