Requirements

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the Florida Bar or eligibility for admission
Minimum of 6 years of experience in CMBS and Real Estate Capital Markets transactions
Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including securities laws, securities offerings, and real estate finance
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively

Nice To Haves

Experience in business development and client management is a plus

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice and support for CMBS and Real Estate Capital Markets transactions, including drafting and negotiating transaction documents, conducting due diligence, and advising on legal risks and implications
Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure smooth and timely completion of transactions
Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments in CMBS and Real Estate Capital Markets to provide informed and strategic legal advice to clients
Conduct legal research and analysis to support client needs
Assist with the development and maintenance of legal templates and standard forms
Handle any legal disputes or issues that may arise during transactions
Provide guidance and training to junior attorneys and support staff as needed
Maintain a strong understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Participate in business development activities and help expand the firm's client base
