The CMAC Subject Matter Expert supports North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) on the Integrated Tactical Warning/Attack Assessment (ITW/AA) and Space Support Contract II (NISSC II). This role involves implementing and maintaining various technical systems, serving as an interface to supported community users, and debugging complex hardware and software to resolve difficult problems using advanced technical skills. The position requires developing and implementing system documentation and operating procedures, identifying and correcting processing anomalies, and installing operating system software, patches, and upgrades. The expert will analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system hardware, software, and networking issues, and configure, optimize, fine-tune, and monitor operating system software and hardware. Responsibilities also include performing system backups, recovery, and server builds, providing systems administrator support for systems hosting complex operational databases, software configuration control, and system interfaces. The role involves managing file servers and network access, performing and providing server, workstation, and system expertise including travel, and coordinating and scheduling system upgrades and maintenance. Additionally, the expert will provide guidance, direction, and training to others, serve as backup to other computer systems administrators, and order replacement hardware and software including warranty claims.
