About The Position
We are seeking a dependable, compassionate and team-oriented CMA who enjoys building relationships with patients and working as part of a collaborative healthcare team. This is a full-time position working alongside physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses and other clinical staff to provide exceptional patient care in our busy gastroenterology clinic.
Requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Understands the importance of confidentiality and HIPAA
Nice To Haves
- Previous gastroenterology our outpatient clinic experience is a plus, but not a requirement.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional, compassionate care to gastroenterology patients
- Room patients and update medical information
- Assist providers and other team members within scope of practice
- Coordinate patient care, testing, procedures and referrals
- Provide accurate and timely documentation in the EMR
- Assist with patient calls, messages and follow-up
