About The Position

GLPP - CMA or LPN - GL Pediatrics is a full-time position, 72 hours per pay period, with set hours Monday - Thursday 8 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. No weekends or holidays are required. The role involves directing and guiding patient teaching and activities of ancillary clinical personnel, placing the patient at the center of care, and collaborating positively with providers and other medical practice staff to provide quality care. Responsibilities include completing clinical assessments, documenting accurately in the patient's electronic medical record, and collaborating with physicians and other health team members in implementing physician orders. The position may require supporting clinical colleagues based on patient volumes/acuity and performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Good interpersonal skills in dealing with patients, families, physicians, co-workers and public.
Flexibility in scheduling to meet department needs.
Previous experience with electronic medical records.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in a Pediatric office is preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

Directs and guides patient teaching and activities of ancillary clinical personnel.
Places the patient at the center of care.
Collaborates and interacts positively with providers and other medical practice staff to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes.
May be required to support clinical colleagues according to patient volumes/acuity.
Completes clinical assessments of the patient by completing a history of present disease and illnesses with accuracy and documents appropriately in the patient's electronic medical record.
Collaborates with physicians and other health team members in implementing physician orders.
Performs other duties as assigned.
