About The Position
Mountain View Hospital is looking for a MA/CMA Prior Authorization Specialist to join our team! JOB SUMMARY: Mainly responsible for managing clinical prior authorization processes from start to finish. This role ensures timely verification of insurance eligibility, submission of accurate prior authorization requests, completion of appeals when necessary and ongoing communication with providers, pharmacies, insurance companies and patients to minimize delays in treatment. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Works well under pressure and prioritize
Nice To Haves
- Certification as a Medical Assistant if applicable
- CMA course preferred
