About The Position

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for CMA for its Urgent Care clinic in Carroll office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Requirements

High School diploma, GED or HiSET.
Graduation from an accredited program for Medical Assistants.
Graduate from accredited school of nursing.
Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) from American Medical Technologists (AMT), NAHP, NCCT, NHA
Possession of State Licensed Practical Nursing.
Possession of State Registered Nurse license.
Current BCLS certification.

Nice To Haves

Clinic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Rooming patients
taking vitals and patient history
performing point of care testing
immunization and other injections
assisting in a fast paced clinical setting
cross-train to assist with maintaining reception desk activities including but not limited to, greeting patients, scheduling appointments, answering the telephone and assisting with online booking.
