About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at PCP Urgent Care Holdings LLC is responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in an urgent care setting. The role involves collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver efficient and effective patient care, ensuring patient comfort, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
  • Current and valid LPN license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working as a Licensed Practical Nurse, preferably in an urgent care or similar fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Experience in patient assessment and care planning.
  • Proficient in clinical skills such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and performing routine laboratory tests.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic setting.
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems and basic computer skills.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team.
  • Assist physicians and registered nurses with medical procedures.
  • Provide patient education on health maintenance and disease prevention.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Support the healthcare team in managing patient flow and prioritizing care.
