About The Position

A Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) supports clinic operations by assisting with patient care, clinical coordination, and administrative tasks for patients across the age spectrum. This role involves direct patient interaction, technical clinical support, and accurate documentation. The position requires effective communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate is flexible, patient-focused, and committed to providing high quality care and service.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Reliable, dependable, and able to balance work and coursework.
  • Excellent communication and customer-service skills, with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and comfort receiving coaching in a clinical environment.
  • Ability to work well in a team and support providers, staff, and patients.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn electronic medical records.
  • Commitment to completing the sponsored CMA program and transitioning into a full-time CMA role.
  • Must complete training and obtain CMA certification within 1 year of hire.
  • Must fulfill a 2-year employment commitment following certification.
