About The Position
Provides care in a medical practice office or clinic under the direction of a provider. Maintains a clean and safe environment, provide patient care and provide patients with information. Provides mentoring for Level I Medical Assistants in the same physician office. Models appropriate behavior as exemplified in The Methodist Mission, Vision and Values. Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Medical Assistant or similar 3-5 years
- HEARTSAVER - American Heart Association
- AAMA Certified Medical Assistant - The American Association of Medical Assistants

Responsibilities
- Proactively fulfills patient care responsibilities as requested by physician or other clinicians in the physician office.
- Fulfills environmental responsibilities as assigned that may include setting up exam room, instruments, and other equipment.
- Fulfills clinical medical assisting responsibilities as required.
