About The Position

This role involves providing direct patient care under provider supervision in a Family Medicine setting. The CMA will perform various clinical tasks, manage patient flow, document care in the EMR, and support quality improvement initiatives. The position may require floating between multiple outpatient practices.

Requirements

• 2+ years of CMA/practice experience – Required.
• Pediatric (Peds) experience – Required and non-negotiable; specific Peds experience must be clearly listed on the profile.
• National CMA certification/registration – Required.
• Phlebotomy/venipuncture experience – Required.
• AHA BLS – Required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required.
• Must live more than 50 miles from the assignment.

Nice To Haves

• AAMA preferred and receives first consideration.
• EPIC experience highly preferred.
• Athena experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under provider supervision.
• Perform vital signs, injections, phlebotomy, point-of-care testing, specimen collection, and basic diagnostic testing.
• Room patients and manage patient flow.
• Prepare patients for office procedures while maintaining infection-control standards.
• Document patient care accurately in the EMR.
• Respond to patient calls and coordinate with other staff as needed.
• Support quality improvement activities and maintain a safe clinical environment.
• May float between multiple outpatient practices based on operational needs.
