About The Position

Derby Assisted Living is looking for a compassionate and dependable Part-Time CMA/CNA to join our team on 1st Shift! If you are a CMA or CNA who enjoys building meaningful relationships with residents, providing compassionate care, and being part of a supportive team, we would love to hear from you! As a Part-Time CMA/CNA on 1st Shift at Derby Assisted Living, you will play an important role in helping our residents have a safe, comfortable, and fulfilling day. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily activities, and help create a positive environment where residents feel valued and respected.

Current CMA/CNA License

Responsibilities

Providing compassionate, person-centered care to residents
Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
Taking and documenting vital signs as directed
Assisting with meals and encouraging proper nutrition and hydration
Providing medication assistance as permitted by certification and facility policy for CMAs
Answering call lights and responding promptly to resident needs
Observing residents and reporting changes in condition to the appropriate nurse
Completing accurate and timely documentation
Maintaining a clean, safe, and comfortable environment
Building positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers
Following all facility policies, procedures, and applicable regulations
Working as a dependable member of the Derby Assisted Living team
