The position is responsible for delivering assigned projects within scope, schedule, and budget.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of general engineering and construction principles and practices.
  • Ability to interpret, organize, coordinate, and communicate assignments.
  • Ability to ensure work is performed and completed in strict accordance with contract documents.
  • Ability to act as a technical advisor.
  • Ability to teach and mentor less experienced engineers and team members.
  • Experience in proposal preparation and business development activities.
  • Responsible for delivering for assigned projects including; scope, schedule and budget.
  • Experience in proposal development/preparation for new business pursuits and other business development related activities.
  • Experience in recruitment/hiring of new CM staff.
  • Ability to develop Project Management Plans (PMP) for assigned projects.
  • Ability to provide construction management oversight during all phases of the project.
  • Ability to create and maintain project schedules.
  • Ability to prepare and update cost estimates.
  • Ability to prepare and maintain project budgets.
  • Ability to develop and implement project specific QA programs.
  • Ability to manage sub-consultants and technical resources.
  • Ability to coordinate and interface with the client and project team.
  • Ability to prepare bid packages and assist with contractor procurement.
  • Ability to develop and coordinate project scopes.
  • Ability to oversee and manage assigned staff.
  • Ability to prepare, monitor and update schedules and budgets.
  • Ability to develop and prepare extra work order requests and open-end contract task proposals.
  • Ability to review and approve contractor invoicing.
  • Ability to prepare client invoices.
  • Ability to participate in client presentations.
  • Ability to coordinate and assist Section Heads, Office Managers, and Practice Leaders with marketing proposals.

Responsibilities

  • Providing construction project oversight using knowledge of general engineering and construction principles and practices to interpret, organize, coordinate, communicate and execute assignments as necessary to accomplish the goals and objectives defined by the client.
  • Ensuring work is performed and completed in strict accordance with the contract documents.
  • Acting as a technical advisor to the Owner and other team members.
