About The Position

Responsible for assembling, rigging, wiring, and completing luxury boat models in accordance with company quality standards, production schedules, and customer specifications.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
Basic mechanical aptitude and knowledge of boat rigging or assembly processes.
Ability to follow detailed instructions, blueprints, and work orders.
Basic math, reading, writing, and communication skills.
Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Dependable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed.

Nice To Haves

Minimum one year of manufacturing or assembly experience preferred.
Basic electrical wiring and component installation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assemble luxury boat components and subassemblies according to work instructions, specifications, and production requirements.
Gather and prepare required parts, tools, and materials for each build.
Measure, position, and install components using assembly drawings, templates, and tape measurements.
Verify fit, finish, and functionality of completed assemblies to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Install and hard-wire electrical components, including lights, speakers, LED lighting, radios, and batteries.
Install, program, and configure digital motor controls and related systems as required.
Rig and install motors according to job specifications, including battery, steering, and shift cable installation where applicable.
Perform adjustments and modifications necessary to meet design and customer specifications.
Operate hoists, lifts, and other equipment safely and effectively.
Assist with shrink-wrap preparation and packaging using approved equipment and procedures.
Complete production, quality, and inventory documentation as required.
Conduct self-inspections to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with company standards.
Maintain equipment and work areas in clean, organized, and safe condition.
Collaborate with team members to meet production schedules and quality expectations.
Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
