About The Position

Rarity Bay Golf & Country Club is seeking friendly and service-oriented Clubhouse Servers to join our Food & Beverage team. This is a great opportunity for hospitality professionals who enjoy providing excellent service while building relationships with members and guests in a welcoming club environment. Located within an award-winning gated lakefront community, Rarity Bay offers breathtaking views of both the water and the surrounding mountains. With approximately 900 homeowners enjoying the “Bay Way of Life,” the Club serves as the social and recreational hub for the community. Members enjoy a full suite of amenities including a par-72, 18-hole championship golf course designed by DJ DeVictor and Peter Langham, tennis and pickleball courts, fitness center, swimming pool, community docks, horseback riding, scenic hiking trails, and more. As a Clubhouse Server, you will play an important role in delivering an outstanding dining experience while helping create the welcoming atmosphere our members and guests value.

Requirements

Ability to work nights, weekends, club events, and holidays
Related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Good organizational and verbal skills.
Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues.
Ability to perform basic mathematical skills, monitor and develop subordinates, visually monitor the operation areas and write and read member communication.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 40 lbs., up to 30 lbs. frequently.
Perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting.
Ability to consistently lift, carry and load equipment that may weigh 30 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating.
Demonstrate knowledge of menus, specials, and beverage offerings to assist guests and make recommendations.
Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guest promptly after preparation.
Inform chefs and cooks of the particulars about the orders, procures items from stations, carries trays and serves the meals to the members and guests.
Anticipate guest’s needs and follow up to ensure satisfaction and memorable experiences.
Participate in departmental and pre-shift meetings.
Maintain a clean, organized workstation and complete assigned side duties.
Provides check to members and or guests when they have finished their meal verifying accuracy of prices, taxes, tips and other charges on all bills; presents bill to members/guests
Maintain proper dress code at all times, wear name badge every days, arrive promptly
Other duties as assigned by management.
