About The Position
Nestled at the base of Grandfather Mountain in Linville, North Carolina, Grandfather Golf & Country Club is a seasonal club offering various employment opportunities. At a soaring 4,280 feet above sea level with average summer temperatures of 75 degrees, Grandfather delivers a fun, upbeat, and busy work atmosphere. We are in search of a seasonal receptionist to work in our Clubhouse who has excellent interpersonal skills and is warm and friendly in demeanor.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Publisher and Canva
- Solid administrative skills
Responsibilities
- Answering phones on a busy switchboard
- Greeting members and guests as they arrive at the club
- Transferring calls
- Answering club event-related questions
- Making dining and event reservations
- Placing To-Go orders
- Updating and printing menus
- Creating labels for buffets
- Updating the website with current menus
