About The Position
The Clubhouse Manager is responsible for the overall operation and supervision of the clubhouse, including staff management, inventory control, sales reporting, event coordination, and ensuring a positive experience for members and guests. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED required
- Advanced addition and subtraction skills required
- Advanced computer skills required
- Friendly personality with ability to supervise and delegate duties to employees
- Adaptive and critical thinking skills required
Nice To Haves
- Previous management experience
- Retail sales experience
- Restaurant and bar service experience including food preparation preferred
Responsibilities
- Ensure clubhouse is opened and closed as scheduled
- Greet members and guests as they walk in the door
- Assist members and guests with services offered, ringing up sales, and upselling
- Manage overall inventories in bar and restaurant, and update restaurant menu options
- Manage general maintenance issues with equipment or building and report to Clubhouse Chairman or Club President
- Manage all sales reporting requirements to the accounting office and secure cash and vendor receipts
- Manage all food preparation ensuring quality product is served
- Maintain general internal controls for the security and safety of club assets
- Complete and approve time records for all club employees and ensure timely submission for payroll
- Manage weekly work schedules for clubhouse employees
- Manage routine janitorial services as needed in the clubhouse
- Manage dress code for all clubhouse workers
- Manage communications to members via email and social media accounts
- Manage regulatory compliance, including permits and licensing
- Communicate membership changes to the Board and accounting office, and present new membership applications for approval
- Responsible for overall supervision of clubhouse employees, including reporting terminations and hiring new employees
- Responsible for coordinating events such as class reunions, family gatherings, and card socials
- Plan and coordinate monthly revenue-generating social events
