About The Position

Provide quality, value-added professional service in the Golf department to exceed facility standards for food service, guest helpfulness, and guest friendliness. This role involves delivering excellent, prompt, and courteous food & beverage service, stocking items, preparing hot products, serving members and guests, and maintaining cleanliness. The position also requires adherence to alcohol service policies, cash handling, and inventory control.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 6 months serving experience.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with guests, customers, supervisors and fellow employees.
  • Must be able to calculate amounts and apply basic addition, subtraction division and multiplication.
  • Must be able to analyze routine data to make appropriate judgments regarding Grille and beverage cart service processes.
  • Must be able to use appropriate judgments as it pertains to supervisory duties.
  • BASSET Certification
  • Illinois Food Handler’s Certification
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Must be able to lift/push/pull 50 pounds.
  • Required to walk, stand, bend, crouch, kneel, and reach.
  • Requires ability to reach, grasp and feel.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver excellent, prompt and courteous food & beverage service.
  • Stock all necessary items before Opening Service.
  • Start coffee and hot products.
  • Service members, customers and guests, know proper procedures on how to serve and retrieve food.
  • Maintain and ensure cleanliness of storage area, counters, cabinets, coolers while keeping all products organized and stocked.
  • Recognize and greet members by name.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.
  • Follow and enforce Alcohol Service Policy, review policy in detail and report any issues such as individuals that have had too much to drink, or brought their own alcohol immediately.
  • Open cash bank and set up cash register.
  • Never leave bar unattended.
  • Be aware of cash handling and accepted methods of payment.
  • Document and submit charge sales summary sheets with tickets.
  • Complete tip record report.
  • Maintain accurate ticket writing and controls.
  • Maintain a proper food and beverage inventory control.
  • Make other contributions to team as necessary.
