About The Position

Join Turning Stone Resort Casino and experience the excitement of our vibrant gaming floor while bringing your enthusiasm, serving skills and positive attitude. Our Club Servers will provide excellent guest services to guests within Exit 33. Guests' drink orders will be taken and served in a timely fashion while ensuring they are having a fantastic experience.

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English for continuous, professional communication.
• Hand coordination for pouring drinks, carrying multiple glasses, and cutting garnishes.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to bend at the waist and lift items up to 30 lbs.
• Capability to move items up to 30 lbs. for distances up to 25 feet.
• Stamina to stand and be active in high heels for an 8-hour shift.
• Ability to see, hear, understand, and respond in a loud environment.
• Must be able to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 30 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience as a Food & Beverage Server or VIP bottle server.

Responsibilities

• Serve and refill beverages promptly.
• Engage with guests to build relationships and encourage repeat business.
• Provide excellent guest service and acknowledge guests by name.
• Suggest additional items to up-sell.
• Prepare and stock the service area at the start of each shift.
• Keep the section clean and tidy throughout the shift.
• Return the guest list to the appropriate staff member.
• Work with Table Attendants to maintain table cleanliness.
• Clean the area at the end of each shift.
• Follow FLAG protocol when serving alcohol to guests under 35.
• Adhere to all TSRC policies and NYSLA laws.
• Identify signs of intoxication and stop service appropriately.
• Notify the Supervisor of any guest concerns or issues.
• Follow department training standards and complete side work.
